[shadow=red,left,300]Evangeline[/shadow] Laid to the river Midsummer, I waved A "V" of black swans On with hope to the grave And though Red September With skies fire-paved I begged you appear Like a thorn for the holy ones A long snowy foot pressed into the darkened earth, the soft sounds of leaves bowing to the added weight the only soft noise the owner made. A long white leg followed suit of course, curvy and long, leading to a slender thigh, followed by the remaining tatters of what once was obviously a gorgeous dress, black and torn, hanging in loose curls. A delicate bodice followed suit, thin as a rail of course, ribs showing through the thin corset, leading to long, pale shoulders, like a soft light in the dark shadows she danced through. Long, black hair curled around her frame perfectly, adorning her face with a long delicacy that only her features could indulge themselves in. Pale blue eyes twinkled from darkened sockets, thin eyebrows perched perfectly on her face, gently flowing into her nose, followed by rosy red lips, full to bursting. The sun shone at mid day, and gently the snow white feet danced in between long shadows of the trees without fear. Her highness was daringly going back home.... The heat of the mid day was more than anyone could bear, and I wondered how such mortals could stand it. I supposed they found some enjoyment in the agonizing pain and constant stings of the warm air, sick monsters they were. Of course, I needed not to worry, considering that the woods offered shade, and a cooler climate, along with the promise of sleeping vampires and werewolves. Well, so I hoped. Who knew, perhaps I would be caught crossing the other clans lands, they would know of my presence, no doubt they would stumble upon my scent, however my trail was thinner. Or so I thought. My hands lingered at my sides, refusing to touch the trees, although their bark burned with an intense red I so lingered to touch. However, my will was of the stronger, and I refrained with my thoughts set on only one thing. Home. I needed to get back to my clan, who knew what mess they had run amok without me? A slight grin danced over my features at the thought of it, and I continued on slinking through the shadows. The only thing that really blended in well in this area was my dress. What was once a gorgeous ball gown, I had cut off to a short mini dress. It was torn under my rib cage, with a large cut lingering there. Black had formed over it, and I had no doubt that it was probably infected. Ah well, when I got home, I would take care of it. Of course, that brawl I had come out in pretty rough shape, however none could tell it now. The only thing that remained of it was of course, the gash along my side.
It had been a lot deeper, but I had faith in a few days it would be fine, once I washed it out of course. Bloody weres. Of course, my dress spoke of it too, it had endured a lot of the battle with me, however I was smart enough to be rid of the long swoops and curls a long time ago. It was now torn, of course, but I couldn't care less. Once I was home, perhaps then I would go shopping, maybe. Shopping, the thought was odd to me. I had been living as a rouge for quite some time now, now that my small matter was over with, I could return home and resume my rightful place at the head of the Deneb. I paused for a moment, glancing at the shadows, which one did I want to take? Broken up by sunlight, I cursed myself, looking for a way around. Down a bit, I sprinted lightly, like an arrow from the bow, grinning as I danced around the long sun patches, my hair sweeping out a bit behind me, daringly dancing near the sunlight, but still staying out as I bowed around it, returning back to my leisurely walk, slinking around the shadows some more. Of course, I was more than excited to return home, show my clan I was in fact, alive and intact. Mostly. I doubted they would be able to comprehend what I had run off to do so suddenly, however, once I returned things would be back in order, and life would go on. My eyes scanned around for a moment, as I stopped, adjusting the dagger tied to the inside of my ankle, loose in its sheath, ready for action. The handle was still coated in blood, I hadn't had time to clean it off, another thing on my list.
Home, it was all that was on my mind. I was excited for many things, a warm bath, a new outfit, to see what had been going on, and most of all, a good meal and a warm bed to sleep in. Living off of animals had never actually satisfied, but humans were harder to come by when they quite literately littered the area, and there was no alley ways to hide them in, no dumpsters to stuff the body. It was all just a mess, and when times had gotten rough, I had to resort to breaking a window or two, and stealing my victim alive and in fear. Their constant screams had been such an annoyance, and being shot at was never fun either. My shoulder still caressed a bullet inside, another thing I would have fun digging out later. Loosing myself in thought, something cold and wet splattered up my legs, and I jumped back in surprise, landing very cat like, admiring the small stream before me I had not heard. The soft crystal water ran smoothly down the sandy banks, and a small smile lit my face, remembering my childhood, so long ago, playing in the small streams behind my home with my brother. I shook the thoughts away, they were over 200 year old memories, what did I need them for? All of my family was dead, including my lover. Had it not been for that wretched town, he would still be firmly at my side. Ah well, the thoughts only provoked angry actions, and right now, I needed to get home. Gracefully, I leapt over the stream, continuing on my way with the graceful swiftness of my breeding. Bared on your tomb I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon Come above onto me? For once upon a time On the binds of your loneliness I could always find the slot for your sacred key

Grrrrrr.....the sun stung my eyes as I woke up. The light was blinding. It reflected of of my gauntlets. My trench coat was heavily torn and ripped from the countless battles Ive had. The very bottom of the coat was stained with blood. My boot were black the steel of the toe had be exposed. Strapped to my back was the axe my father had used to kill my mother. I've never had to use it. Its there as more of a reminder of my past and who I am. I could hardly remembered anything from the night before. I slowly got up. Looking nearby i saw a body lying there. I finally remembered. The night before i slaughtered a man and his children and dragged there bodies near into this forest. I was within eyesight of a stream. The mans son and daughter were someone where nearby hidden in the brush or more like everywhere since i ripped them apart as my midnight snack there father being my dinner that night. I walked over to the stream. I looked at my reflection. Blood was still all over my face, chest, and arms. I splashed water on my face rinsing the blood off of me. I was still trying to catch my bearings. I guess you could say I'm blood drunk though my thirst for blood is never quite quenched.
I guess at this point my human form is closer to my were form than it ever was, for my blood lust is now permanent and my senses enhanced...mostly smell epeically when it comes to blood and the like. Now that the blood was off of me i picked the remains of my last meal out of my teeth. I had let my nails grow to a sharpened point to so i can do as much damage as possible to my victims. The heat started to get to me so i sat in the stream. Oh how i miss the cold russian air. There I sat for quite awhile losing track of time enjoying something I barely ever get..relaxation. Eventually I hauled myself out of the stream. And went into the shade of the nearby trees. My attention was then caught by something. I sniffed the air...trying to pinpoint what it was. Ahhhhh its blood... I promptly headed in the direction of scent.
The stronger the scent grows the faster i move towards it. I have no control over it. As I grew close I smelt something...different. I stopped and sniffed the air...vampire... and they are moving quite quickly. Oooooh this could be interesting... but i need to me careful...if i don't have the element of surprise I could be in trouble. I went down on all fours to stay low and started running. I could see her in the distance. I surveyed and studied her. She was wearing what looked like a dress that was torn to make a mini dress. I then saw the glint of steel...a dagger with blood on the handle....probably the blood I smelt that led me here. I have to be careful..shes armed. That's when i smelt it...a wound ...infected. Maybe if I'm lucky it has weakened her. I sped up as fast as i could and positioned myself behind her. I messed up...my beast like nature.. I growled loudly and thrusted my body into the air nails and teeth bared toward my target...only one problem. The growl was a giveaway

Laid to the river Midsummer, I waved A "V" of black swans On with hope to the grave And though Red September With skies fire-paved I begged you appear Like a thorn for the holy ones I moved swiftly and effortlessly through the forest, a soft smile on my face as I danced through the shadows, being sure to keep quiet. Ha, like I was ever loud? Hardly! I grinned at my thoughts, pressing forward through the forest, ignoring the burning red bark of the trees, keeping my mind from drifting. Quickly I stole a glance at my side, it'd probably heal by the time I got home. I was a Deneb, of course it would! It had been ten times deeper before, and that was not even a day prior. I smirked, yeah, I was good, even though it was black on the outside, the infection would hold no grasp on me. I wouldn't be affected by it, due to my breeding. Sometimes, being a Deneb had its advantages. My thoughts led me back to my clan, but I didn't have much time to think. I froze for a moment, shooting ice daggers over my shoulder, certain I had heard something. Huh, nothing. Not that I could tell. The smell of a were surrounded me, but I dismissed it. I had been fighting them for a year in my home country, it was probably what I was smelling. The aftermath. I glanced at the dagger, noting the blood still on the handle, smirking and continued fourth. Of course, with an inhalation I could smell the smell of death around me. I paused for a moment, lustful as I inhaled deeply, my eyes fluttering closed. Ah, the sweet iron smell of humans. Three or four? I tried to pick them out, pushing aside the smell of the were around me. Three, solidly three for sure. Two males, one smelled stronger than the other, causing me to believe that the weaker one was younger. How old? Due to my fetish, I was certain I should have been able to pick out ages, but with all the unfamiliar scents around me, I was at a little loss. Ah well, I had better things to do anyways. The third smelt of a girl, it was softer and seemed to hold a little more estrogen. I smiled despite myself, damn I was good, and continued fourth. Of course, there was nothing more I enjoyed then being barefoot, although I felt a bit rogue. I heard something stir in the distance, just a little bit. Whatever it was, seemed to be moving quickly and heading in my way. Huh, perhaps I'd have a meal. I grinned and kept moving, hearing something stir again. I growled a little, was it me or was the scent of were stronger? Perhaps it was just my senses heightening, since it seemed both mind and body were preparing for a fight. I licked my fangs, eyes narrowing into cold glittering slits, feeling something behind me. Hearing a large growl, I flipped around, fangs bared in defense already, noting the large brute of a man as he charged towards me. He was massive, I had to admit, his teeth and nails bared at me as he flew through the air. I whipped around, swiftly stealing the dagger out of its sheath, eyes cold as I froze, pointing it towards his chest. My lips pulled back in an evil sneer, long pearly fangs glistening over the ruby lips, feeling my heart race as I anticipated the fight. Try something. I fucking dare you I snarled, the silver of my blade shining brightly. I glanced around, noting whereever the sun shone through. Good, I had a massive space of uninterrupted shadow, I would be safe. Another snarl ripped through me, pissed that he'd dared to launch himself at me. At least I hadn't stabbed him, not yet anyways. Bared on your tomb I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon Come above onto me? For once upon a time On the binds of your loneliness I could always find the slot for your sacred key

She had seen me. The knife swiftly came out of its sheath and shone a bright silver with a ray of sun through the forest canopy. It was pointed straight at my chest. Shit! there was noway to stop my forward momentum. I moved my right arm in front of my chest. The blade easily glided through my flesh like butter. she had leaned back and effectivley dodged my pounce. I landed on three of my limbs and stood onto my hind legs right arm tight to my torso. By the time I had regained my bearings she had ducked into the shadows. Perhaps I have bitten off more than i can chew...or perhaps this will be interesting or maybe even fun. The wound was gushing geysers of blood. It would heal quick enough. As far as i was concerned this deep gash was a scratch. I retreated back to the river to rinse off the injury. Seeing that i had been a nomad most of my life I have a knowledge of nature and was able to harvest a few plants able to help the injury. I started to think of this vampire. She seems different from most I've incountered. She seems more aware of her surroundings....more...bloodthirsty if thts possible with a creature known as a blood sucker. I was at the least intrigued. Curiosity killed the cat...but It got the best of me. I had lost her scent. The stench of my own blood masked it. Hmm in my were form i should be able to smell her and get a bearing on her direction...i havent had a need to turn in decades other than when the moon was full....could I do it...? I concentrated...my blood began to boil. Bones began to reposition and resize..muscles and ligaments snapped reatached and grew. Hair began to get thicker my face began to turn into a muzzle my teeth grew to several inches...and my nails were now 4 inch claws. All I could see was white...the pain blinded me. I hadn't induced a transformation in a long time..it took a lot to do it. I loved the feeling of strength in this form...i wanted to test my right arm so i slashed at a nearby tree. CRACK CrrrrAck CRAAACKKK! BANG! the tree splintered and fell. This was no small tree at about a foot thick. I sniffed the air. Smells surrounded me..the smell of nature...the smell of my victims...the smell of....HER!!!!! I know which direction shes in. I began lumbering my massive werebear body in her direction I could still move faster than a human but not nearly as fast in my other form. I began getting closer and eventually turned back to my human form. I sped up she has very close I could barely make her out in the shadows. I slowed down matching her pace to keep distance to try not to alert her to my presence. I was here to observe, watch and wait. Studying her ever move to see what made her tick....maybe if i was lucky she wouldnt notice me or at least tolerate my presence and ignore me. The wound had almost stopped bleeding....almost

He seemed to realize the danger he was now in as my silver dagger glinted in the rays of the sun, my lithe frame dodging the bullet as he came down with a howl. Ah, I'd hit my mark, noting the blood that splashed against my hand, my blade severing his muscle from his bone, a clean nice cut that I was certain had gone all the way through. Then again, he was massive and incredibly thick, perhaps it hadn't. Ah well, my eyes narrowed as a cruel smirk twisted upon my features pinching my cheekbones and only adding the cruelness to my already cold eyes. Although it stunk, I relished in the blood that had trailed up my forearm slowly running down in neat little trickles. Immediately, he landed, cradling his forearm like an infant. He tucked it up neatly like a wounded dog, and retreated into the shadows. My brow raised, watching as he left in the direction he had come. I smirked, well that couldn't have gone any better. I watched his form leave until it was out of sight, waiting a few moments to be sure I wouldn't get another surprise attack. The cruel smirk faded into a softer smile, pleased with my accomplishment that I hadn't even had to work for. Again, it couldn't have gone any more perfect for me. I shook my hand vigorously, watching blood droplets shimmer across the ground and land, scoffing as I did so. Damn, they stunk, no doubt Karasu would know about my encounter. I grumbled, he'd be pissed and probably tear after the guy. Not what I needed, I had several goals on my mind that needed tending to first, and all of them involved him alive and intact. I knelt to the ground, cleaning my dagger of all blood, wiping my hand with a few frothy leaves that grew on a nearby oak. Well, it'd dry it, the stench still lingered and I cursed under my breath. I sighed, scanning the horizon again, before flipping around and walking away again. Now, I was quite confident that the were had learned a thing or two, and was going to leave me alone. But as I drifted further and further, a sudden crack and crash echoed in the forest, the vibrations pulsating through the ground and up my spine. I glared, turning my gaze to notice a tree on the ground. That hadn't been there earlier. Ah well, I still didn't fret, though I had no doubt it wasn't the were. Perhaps he was exercising his severed arm, I merely smirked at the thought and continued on again. The tree was a good distance away, I didn't really worry that the were was right on top of me. Nevertheless, I was ten times more alert, feeling my sense heightened a great deal. I wasn't alone, I knew that, and he was angered. Plus, it seemed my sense of smell was going to fail me from this point on, the blood stench on my hand marking the air around me with the smell of him. I grumbled, stupid being. I wasn't sure who'd had the worse injury, my loss of scents or his muscle torn arm. I heard something, or so I thought, and my gaze slid back enough to catch sight of a rather large mass off in the distance. I shivered a little, there was no proof it was him, not like I could tell anyways since I'd lost all use of scent, but I moved along a little faster. The sooner I was out of this blasted forest, the better life would be. My long limbs extended before me, taking bigger quicker strides, still only just a walk. Stupid were, of course now I would be paranoid. Again, something snapped behind me, and I merely slid my gaze back to the far corners of my eyes, taking in the form of the man. He had to be kidding me. Following me? I snarled. No doubt he'd follow me back wherever I was going, and there was no way in hell I was leading him to Karasu's. Nice try buddy boy, better luck next time. I growled, the noise low and deep in my throat, purring through my chest and coursing through my veins. I spun again to face him, my black tresses flying around me, curling around my face perfectly as it always did. I merely sneered at him, in the same movement unsheathing my dagger again, arm adamant and pointed at his chest, despite the large gap between us. You got a problem? I snarled. I was ready to rip him to shreds, perhaps he could pick up on that before I actually had to. What? A whole fucking forest isn't big enough for you?! My voice was a harsh and cold tone, my eyes flashing angrily. Fear? No, of course not. There was nothing I feared, besides Karasu's wasn't that far off, or so I hoped. Only a few miles, I could run there hopefully faster than this guy. What was I saying? Of course I could! However, I'd much rather kill him then run from him. The thought almost brought a smirk to my lips. Oh yes, I'd love to kill him.

She turned around. Our eyes met. I could see only pure malice and hatred in her eyes. She snarled at me. You got a problem? What a whole fucking forest isnt't big enough for you? I stared at her trying to read her. She was angry but so was I. I held back myself. I growled at her..and then yelled Yeah the forest is big enough for me but not big enough to be shared with your type you bloodsucking bitch. I ducked back to the underbrush and started to cirlce her...running faster and faster and changing direction. I was making a large racket...maybe I could confuse her seeing her keen sences might be only picking up my own blood that was on her from the stabbing earlier. i ran in one direction changed and silently climbed a large tree...I looked down at her she was still looking around perhpas if im lucky shell think im still in the brush. I looked at nails witch were filed to a sharp point. I put my finger to my canine teeth witch were plesently sharp. I'll go for it. I leape out of the tree and landed on her from behind. I dug my nails deep into her right shoulder almost digging it out. And i clamped my teeth into her upper left arm. THe sweet taste of her blood entered my mouth. I had knocked her down. I dug my right hand in deeper and propelled myself off her body and retreated back into the woods. I yelled Paybacks a bitch! I wanted to make distance between myself and her at least enough distance where she wouldnt able to hopefully find me. I found my way back to the river. I licked the blood off my lips and sucked my fingers. Finger lickin good i thought. I lighlty chuckled to myself. Hm I wonder if she'll come after me....probably. She is probably rushing after me. I decided I'd cover myself with mud to try and hide my scent. I layed low in a defensive position...shed probably find me. So i transformed to my werebear form to better protect myself. I hope none of her blood is still on me. i decided I should keep moving so I brought myself on all fours and began to move. She kept popping into my mind. I had never seen such evil... such unbridled hatred in someone's eyes before. It fascinates me. It was intruiging. For once i was actually worried...at least i thought i was. Fear was not sumthing I had ever really felt before. Maybe it was just cautiousness..who knows? Maybe I should watch my moves more carefully. *Sniff sniff* what was that...hmm maybe im just paranoid. I hope none of her blood is still on me. Maybe it is and thats what im smelling. Nonetheless I became on edge deffensive. CRACK!!! a twig snapped behind me..Myabe im just paranoid...I turned around. Paranoid...maybe...

Across the gap, our eyes had met, and my cold one seemed to pierce through whatever barrier he had made. A cruel little smirk twisted at my lips, realizing what power I had. Was it just a stone cold look that would be enough to deter him? I hoped so, I was rather tired, playing games wasn't exactly in my agenda for the day. The faint sounds of a low growl rumbled through his chest, the words delicate as they hung on a balance, thinly before my eyes. His voice rough, it called through the forest to me, a response that seemed to take him forever. Yeah the forest is big enough for me but not big enough to be shared with your type you bloodsucking bitch. I merely glared at him harder, my lip twitching enough to pull into a sneer, the length of my ivories showing through over blood red lips. I was here first you animal. Another thought struck me, and I merely leveled my head, allowing a malicious grin to slide across my features, my eyes glinting with a bit of cold humor. Bloodsucking bitch? Is that the best you've got? I merely asked, half way to kindly, except the sarcasm and hatred dripped from my words like blood from a carcass. He moved forward, and I braced myself for impact, yet instead he changed, digging a rather large circle around me. I merely stayed, following him calmly with my gaze as he shifted direction from direction, whirling around. Good, drain yourself of all your energy. I was keeping up easily enough, only loosing him when he'd slid to a stop and changed direction. But I was easily catching up and learning his mannerisms, and I was rather pleased that he'd do the honor of wearing out his stamina so quickly for me. It made him easier to eliminate, and my hand shifted to my mouth, yawning widely as I waited for him to finish. Of course, I didn't appreciate the noise, it was terrible pounding against my eardrums, and the dust he stirred caused a bit of loss of sight. I frowned a bit, eyes narrowing to seek him out. Where had he gone? I listened intently, my sense of smell was still off of course. I frowned, stupid were. My eyes closed, useless anyways in the dust storm, and I simply tuned into hearing alone. There, the soft scratch of something. I had no idea what, but I turned sharply on my heels, to notice the brute of a man flying down. His hands braced my shoulders, plowing me into the ground before I'd even had a chance to react. He clawed at my shoulder, gripping the higher part of my left arm between his jaws. I snarled, yowling in pain as he dug deeper, eyes flashing as I snapped my jaws in front of his face, landing a few good bites much to my disgust. My left hand flew to his face, still gripping my bicep, my right arm flying to rake my long black nails down his spine, digging as deep as I felt. Either I had caused him a great deal of pain, or he'd had enough, he lunged from me, running into the forest. Paybacks a bitch! He called, and I merely snarled. I shivered as he left, rolling up from the ground, blood everywhere. My own. Disgusting. I spat into my hand, rubbing it onto my shoulder to clean it. Of course, he just didn't seem to realize who he was messing with. I was a Deneb, Deneb leader at that, and I smirked as the flesh closed around the wound, sealing the blood inside it in quite a few minutes. The puncture wounds in my left arm were already gone, and I sat for a while longer, thinking out my strategy. I wasn't one to be fucked with, and if this guy thought he was getting away, well, he was dead wrong. I smirked, picking up my dagger, admiring my reflection in the silver of the blade. Stupid Were. Karasu would survive for a little while longer, I had something important to attend to. Whoever he was, he wasn't very light on his feet, and I easily traced his tracks in utter silence, a tiger stalking her prey. I smiled a good deal, tucking my small bodice behind a massive oak, watching as he cleaned the rest of my blood. I could have ripped him to shreds then, but I waited to see what else he would do. No doubt he was on the lookout. Good, he ought to be. After all, I wasn't going to be fucked with so easily. Stupid animal. He cleansed himself in the river, before covering mud all over him. Huh, was someone afraid? I could have cackled at the thought, the cruel smirk twisting my lips again. Yet I stayed silent, for now. I watched as he transformed, a massive bear taking his place, his back turned to me. Ah, perfect. I unsheathed my dagger, waiting, lurking behind him carefully in silence as he lumbered away. My heart leaped for a moment, hearing one of his hind feet snapping a twig. I flitted quickly behind another tree as he observed the land behind him. Damn his clumsiness. He'd almost caught me, but I knew he hadn't. The great Evangeline wouldn't be caught so quickly. I merely smiled as he began lumbering away again, this time wasting no time at all. I launched from my hiding spot to a higher branch, my stealth superb, silence being the only thing I could hear. I crawled on fours, waiting until he was below me, before leaping down from my perch. I grinned as I sunk my dagger into the his back, right between his two massive shoulder blades. Ah, but I wasn't done there. My hands gripped his massive bear body, clinging to him desperately, sinking my fangs deeply into his neck or shoulder. Whichever one, I wasn't sure, but I knew I had him. Ah, sweet vengeance. I would kill him, surely his fate now looked grim. I sucked as fast as I could, not actually drinking the stuff, most of it falling down his body and around my mouth, flowing in rivers onto the ground below us. I smiled, the bitter taste driving me away more and more, until I felt I'd had enough of this. I yanked my dagger from his spine, leaping off of him, my brow shooting up as I eyed him. Oh, I had a nasty little surprise. I opened my jaws, a large pool of blood dumping out onto the ground, dripping from my lips, tongue and fangs.

Hmm...I guess it was nothing. I lumbered slowly on. All of a sudden with no warning she was upon me. Her dagger slid effortlessy into my back her teeth sunk between my neck and shoulder. I tried to grab her but in this form I lacked the flexibility. I could feel the hot flow of my own blood all down my back. I growled in pain. Eventually she jumped off of me and landed in front of me. Her eyes met mine. As our eyes met I unexpectedly reverted back to my human form. Is that all you got? A simple stab to the spine isnt going to take me out espeacillay if you don't hit it dead center. I laughed meniachally. Whats little red riding hood doin in the woods. She might run into the big bad wolf. I laughed more. Where are you goin cuz i doubt its grandmas house. She looked at me with anger. And perhaps a glint of confusion. I spoke aloud. I wonder. You just got the drop on me and you could've killed me. You Didn't. Why I wonder? And you're probably thinkin the same thing why I didnt even attempt to kill you earlier. Good luck finding that out. I imeadiatly ran into the woods in the direction she had obviously followed me from. I had no clue where she had been heading but maybe I could make her think I do. I ran low on all fours moving swiftly through the under brush. I swear I can hear her running somewhere behind me. Would she ambush me? I don't know...maybe she wants answers as much as I do.

Is that all you got? A simple stab to the spine isn't going to take me out especially if you don't hit it dead center. He laughed manically as I shook the rest of his blood out of my mouth. My brow raised, noting he'd turned back to a human. For the love of the Fates, couldn't this guy just pick a form and stay with it? I rolled my eyes. I could have done worse I murmured, doubtful he could hear it, flicking some dirt off the top of my nails carelessly, hardly paying any attention to him. Now, perhaps if I'd had a longer blade, then it would have done some serious damage. Still, I was quite certain that something would go wrong. I mean, severing the brain chords from each other would at least cause him to be paralyzed. Damn, I must have not struck in between the vertebrae like I'd hoped. Oh well, I still had a few wounds on him, and he wasn't healing any time soon, not like me. Whats little red riding hood doin' in the woods? She might run into the big bad wolf. Where are you goin' cause I doubt its grandmas house. He laughed more and I raised my brow, looking at him like he was stupid. Well, he was stupid. What did that have to do with anything? I scoffed and ignored him, his immature jests un-amusing. I wonder. You just got the drop on me and you could've killed me. You Didn't. Why I wonder? And you're probably thinkin' the same thing why I didn't even attempt to kill you earlier. Good luck finding that out. I glanced at him easily. He should have been thanking me not pondering why I didn't bother to kill him. In truth I'd been hoping to wound and drain him enough that he'd lay on the ground. I'd much rather he suffers until I decided to be merciful and give the final blow, then to just take him out in one solid swipe. It's much to easy I stated boringly, bored enough that I now no longer really held any lust to finish him off. I might just let him go, the one that survives right? At least until Karasu heard about it, no doubt then the were-thing would be in huge trouble. I snickered inwardly, thinking of my lovers face when he found out. Oh yes, this guy just didn't realize who he was fucking with. In truth, I wasn't wondering why he hadn't killed me. Probably because I felt like I was pretty damn near invincible, and I'd clawed his face off. Those two reasons were enough to give me reason why he'd left. He turned and ran off again. One brow raised as I watched him, alright, stupidity. He ran back the way I had come, which wasn't any particular way at all. I sighed, rolling my eyes. Yeah, he could get away for now, I really just didn't have the lust to kill him anymore. Whatever I tossed my eyes again, flipping my hair, turning on my heels. What was this guys issue? He got a good blow, and then ran off. Well, alright I supposed his stupidity was only benefiting me. I sighed, shoving my dagger back into its sheath, cleaning the blood from my lips again. Weres, I would never understand them, and I simply moved along at my same easy pace, opposite the way he had come. I'd go straight to Karasu's from here, why bother chasing him down? And if he dared follow me, well then it'd make mine and Karasu's job that much easier. I snickered lightly, no doubt my love would be pissed when he saw the state I was in, and the fact that this guy had the balls to dare lay a hand on me. If I didn't turn to kill him first, I mean, I personally didn't like running to Karasu for the matter, but I was much to tired and bored already to be bothered with this guys stupidity. Plus, I hadn't an adequate blade to finish him off, and I really didn't feel like getting another dress bloodstained, even if it was black.

I ran for quite some time and then stopped. Something wasn't right. I could feel no presence. Maybe I wasn't goin the right way. The injury had started to heal but the ordeal had left me tired and hungry. I started to move and eventually stumbled upon a small cabin. Even though I was exausted I managed to go back to bear form. I easily knocked down the front door and proceded in side. Right there infront of me was a man whom I quickly swiped at him removing his head from his shoulders. I began to feast. His bones breaking from the force of my bites. I then heard something in the other room. I went in. It was a small child. Maybe around the age of 5. He looked at me and started sayin puppy puppy!! I want to ride the puppy. I was about to swipe him with my massive paw when i looked down at him. I felt sad for the kid. I don't know why but I actuallly felt bad for the kid. I threw him on my back. Owweee he yelled. I seemed to have scrathed him as i put him up there. I didnt really think of it. I lumbered out of the building. Ussually I wouldve killed him. Hell I've killed and eatin hundred of babies and children. Why was he different. I headed toward the direction I had come from. Maybe I'd run into her again. Hopefully not soon. The kid yell giddyup as we headed deeper in the woods. How humiliating maybe I will eat him. I guess we'll see. The sun had been slowly going down. The moon had come up. The child screamed. His screams shatterd the silence in the woods. His entire body shifting its form. He kept screaming writhing in pain. He fell off my back and hit the ground with a dull thud. I looked at him he had turned into a werebear. I spoke to him and said. Young one im Wilhelm your creator. Go now swiflty in that direction. Pointing to were i figured was her direction of travel. With your small size you are fast. I will swiftly follow behind. Watch her do not engage. See if you can learn anything. Try not to get caught and try to stick to the trees. He nodded climbed a tree and quickly headed in her direction. He eventually found her. He stayed to the tree tops looking down at her. She seemed like she was unaware of his presence, this was good. He could hear wilhelm behind him...if he cld hear him....she maybe could
