The elegant female vampire was roaming. Roaming so that she could relax. She was worried, that was written all over her face and even her body language as she walked. Her brother was the cause of her worry. Well, actually it was the people that would harm her brother that worried her. See, she was Eri, leader of the Antares, her brother was Sai, a member of the Tau Ceti. Neither had really been part of either clan though. Their bloodline was notorious for blood-rages, infact she and her brother where stronglyinfected with the curse. If one could see her eyes right now they would see that her normally bright blue eyes where flecked with a bright and rather dangerous red. It wasn't anger that caused them to lose control, any strong emotion that gripped them was dangerous, but they learned to control it from an early age. Sai wasn't so lucky. He'd been so angered that he had lost control, and murdered the entire clan save her. They didn't want to separate but they thought it was best. So now she was the leader of the Antares, something she both loved and loathed, and Sai was of the Tau Ceti. Recently she had been wandering, much to Sai's displeasure, he was the typical older brother type, and had found a loner and talked to for sometime. She had mentioned besides the fact that her brother was cute, of course all other females thought so, that their story was getting out. A story that could possibly condemn them out of fear. She shuddered slightly at the thought of losing Sai. She stopped walking and let the wind blow through her long brown hair. Some said that perhaps she shouldn't be the Antares lead. Mostly because she liked to roam, and because she liked guys a little too much for her safety, but she was young. Oh so young and would improve with age. She had to, and there was always a semi-allaince between the Antares and Tau Ceti. She needed to talk with the Tau Ceti as it was to truly make it formal though.

Daichi lead Arsiu through the lesser known paths of the forest. "Come on, Arisu" He said cheerfully ",the spring is just a little while further!" Daichi was a little further ahead of Arisu because she skipped down the path dancing out the way of insects and flowers and other small things. "It isn't right to squish them you know?" She would say "After all, you wouldn't very much like it if someone squished you, would you?" They continued on in this way a little longer until they came to a pond with bright, crystal clear water. "See Arisu" Daichi explained "Isn't it as beautiful as I told you!" "You're right of course, Onii~chan" Arisu giggled as she danced about on the surface of the water. She twirled about like a ballerina lost in her fluid movements. Daichi sat down on the shore watching his sister, a sad, knowing glimmer expressed only through his eyes. His Shikigami (Paper Guardians) floated nearby ready to warn him of any danger that might come by them, however unlikely. The full moon shone brilliantly above the pond casting its brilliant reflection upon the pond.

Eri heard voices not far from her. She didn't quite recognize them but by what she was hearing they obviously didn't belong to anyone that meant her or the clan any harm. Curiousity arose and she moved forward. It sounded like they where near one of the hidden ponds. Such a beautiful area to be around at times. She glanced skyward before moving off. There was plenty of time before dawn so it couldn't hurt to try and strike up a conversation. She moved calmly, almost like a cat moving through the shadows. She spotted the pair after not long of walking. She took a deep breath, trying to push the thoughts of Sai from her mind. No, she couldn't let anyone find out about her ties to another clan. Especially one so personal as siblings. Someone might think that she was under the Tau Ceti's influence or that the security of the Tau Ceti had been comprimised as well. She stepped forward, adopting a small and gentle smile. She kept her sword sheathed though one hand was resting gently next to the hilt. "Hello and welcome to Datsu." She said calmly, in a gentle tone. She stopped when she was a few feet away from the boy and watched the two calmly, noting everything about the two that could be dangerous, but unless they showed an ounce of fight she would remain neutral as usual. Maybe it wasn't a good thing that she was so young, so trusting as well. No matter, they didn't look dangerous and until they proved otherwise they would stay that way in her mind.

"Why so tense miss?" Daichi asked innocently ", and thank you for the welcome, but we live here miss." Arisu danced over near the shore "HI! Are you an Onee~chan?" she asked exicted "Wanna come play with me?" as she finished asking she glided back across the lake "We could play tag!" she called out. Daichi's Shikigami gracefully floated down and hovered behind him quietly. Daichi got up and brushed the sand off his clothes, then gave a formal bow and explained "My sister is just excited she has not been outside in a long time."

Eri's eyes flashed slightly, the sheen almost red in color when the boy asked why she was tense and she looked at him calmly. He then stated that they lived here, after thanking her for the welcome. She blinked slowly. She really needed to stay within the lands more often instead of roaming around it seemed. Ah well. His sister, or at least that's what Eri would assume she was until told otherwise if she was, then came over wanting to play. She blinked slowly. Play? How old where they anyways? Not that it really mattered. Her eyes flicked towards a movement, fingers twitching slightly. She really needed to relax at times. One of her eyebrows raised slightly when he bowed to her and then explained why the girl was so excited, and that she was his sister. Score one for Eri. "It's fine, by the way, I'm Eri, leader of this clan." She said calmly, offering a small smile. Not the greatest leader perhaps but she was more or less interested in how the clan itself was, and frankly, there hadn't been that many around to constitute her need to be around.

"Pleased to meet you miss Eri" Daichi said pleasently "How are things going with everyone else in the clan? We've been out traveling the world and just got back a couple of nights ago." He shuffled his feet in the sand looking a bit embarrased by his lack of knowledge. "I know its bad for an elder to not know these things about his own clan, I hope you can forgive me" He said that last part with big puppy dog eyes. Arisu got distracted by a lunar moth and glided around following it where it went. She started to follow towards the other shore away from Eri and Daichi "Wait mister moth you're so pretty can't I look at you just awhile longer?"

The boy was polite, or rather elder it seemed since he was techincally older than her, a little too polite for her liking but then again from the time when he was raised it was probably considered normal. Oh well. That's when she noticed that he didn't really know anything about the clan, or at least any recent business with the clan, either. She smiled slightly, not at his embarassment, but with at least knowing she wasn't the only clueless one for the most part. "Slow but everything has been quiet for the most part." She said calmly. She would've mentioned about the murder of the Tau Ceti leader, but that wasn't for the Antares clan even though her brother was in that clan. "It's fine, I hardly know most of the others in the clan because they have either disappeared or don't wish to acknowledge me as the leader even though I'm trying my best with what I have to go with." She said calmly. Her gaze flicked towards the girl who was chasing a massive moth and calling out to it as if it was going to listen. She blinked slowly, wishing she could have that life again but knowing it was impossible. Why impossible? Because her family conisisted of only Sai now since he'd slain their entire family a few years ago when his rage had gotten too far out of hand.

"Oh, it seems things have gotten a bit sloppy since I last visited home" Daichi said casually looking over to Arisu "Hey, be careful Ari~chan!" Arisu was following the moth right into a patch of briar bushes with particularly large thorns. Daichi quickly took out a bunch of sutra spell cards which he threw one at a time on to the lake's surface skipping across them to get to Arisu, who upon hearing her name, stopped for moment to look around, and then continued chasing the moth. Daichi nearly falls, losing balance near the pond's center. "Ahhh!" Daichi tries keeping his balance and ends up awkwardly wobbling back and forth on one foot with a look of fright upon his face.

Eri's eyes flashed a dull red as she shut her eyes at the perceived insult of the boy. Sloppy?! She could only do so much alone when nobody even sought her out and it was a pain to hunt down everyone. She took a deep breath to steady herself and released it with a heavy sigh as she opened her bright blue eyes again in time to see him go chasing after his sister. The sight reminded Eri too much of her brother and one hand clenched her sword hilt. She ground her molars slightly wanting to visit her brother once again and cursing the day that she had left him so that she could rule this. She had been such a young idiot, power over her family? How pathetic she was. And of course her power was little to none since her clan was all but gone. She sniffed slightly seeing the boy about to fall before sighing. How was she going to get out there to help him? She couldn't walk on water nor had her speed progressed enough for her to be able to run and save him before he would fall. Gravity was a bitch at times after all. Plus as far as she knew she was entirely too young to be able to fly like many of the eldest elders and ancients. Poor guy. She wanted to help, but what could she do? She sighed again. Why had she chosen this over family? Why? Red flickered over her eyes again as she shut them, fighting her emotions down. "Arisu you might want to save your brother." She called out as she turned, one hand still clenching the sword hilt so tightly that her knuckles where a true white. She should just go find someone who was as good as she was with a sword, she could vent with little trouble there, at least if they knew what she was capable of, but not many did, not fair it seemed. She could deal for a little then she supposed as her gaze drifted towards the trees.

Arisu turned around in time to see Daichi about to fall. She reacted quickly by catching him in a bowl of manipulated water. "Wow, that was close wasn't it Onii~chan" Arisu said cheerfully. Daichi asked her if she would put him back on the shore and she obliged his request and came to the shore herself. Arisu also took the time to dry Daichi off, "Miss you seem kind of angry, whats the matter?" She asked her voice laced with genuine concern for Eri.
