Naps are good, naps are wonderful are the words that would probably be popping into Baku's brain right this minute if he wasn't already taking his beloved naps. Sure, he was considered an Elder in some places, but that just showed how old he was not how he tended to act. If Baku's parents were still around they would probably consider him still a baby and treat him that way. But, they were the only other living thing in the world that would ever be able to tell that to the young looking man and live.
Baku had come to Rekar mainly for the prospect of taking a nap somewhere that others tended to never come to. Even though it was a sacred place for some vampires, Baku loved having the peace and quite which made up the perfect nap place for him. He could have gone to his Faction's land since there was only one other who was in the Faction, but that seemed to desolate for Baku's taste. Plus, before he had fallen asleep, he had been able to poke around. Well not really poke more like look around and see if there was anything interesting still around. There hadn't been much that caught the vampires attention and that was when a nap had decided to set in. So, the white haired, young looking man had found a nice little overlap of rumble and had curled up around his sword to join in the land that he called Dream Land.

You only think this place is quiet my little boy.
I was moving through my 'faction's' territory swiftly. Dark black hair acting almost like a cloak as I ran along. I was heading towards the city. I was hungry, I was going to feed tonight. I still found it ironic that the Cygni chose the ruins of what the world used to be as the homeland. Of course maybe I just didn't understand the thoughts of the founding members of the clan. I slid to a halt, skirt and hair swirling about when I sensed something off. Intruder? Who would come here? Oh yeah, everyone curious about the past. I moved forward quickly and silently. Wondering who I had to scare tonight. I cruel little smirk twisted my lips when I saw that the boy was sleeping. "Not a smart move sleeping in unfamiliar areas my foolish friend." I said, squatting down before shifting so I was on my knees. I had on a very short skirt and I honestly didn't know what kind of guy he was. I was very protective over my body anyways. I wanted to poke him but I decided not to. As sure of myself as I was, since I was an elder after all, I didn't know if perhaps he was older than me as in an Ancient, or if he was simply a fledging. I didn't want to take any chances so I would wait, though if I had to wait too long perhaps I would abate my hunger a little with him? Yes, not too much though, just a little sip and then a human and I would be fine.
Should I though? Maybe...Maybe not, I bet his blood tastes good. Of course all blood tastes good though....I wonder if his tastes different from most other blood? I might have to just find out....

Dream Land is amazing at times. It allows you to be in your happiest place or you could have nightmares, but nightmares weren't very common with Baku. Well while regular bakus only eat good dreams the vampire Baku dreamed only good dreams. Giving out a sight Baku enjoyed the field that he was laying in, in his dreams. Sunlight never hurt him in his dreams and it felt so nice to be able to go out during the day. Then there was a voice coming through to his happy field. The voice was a females and not one that Baku knew. The lady was talking about how it wasn't good for him to sleep in an unfamiliar area. Giving out a sound that was a mix of a sigh and a growl Baku dragged himself awake. Sure, what the lady had said was true, but the white haired vamp really didn't care all to much. As long as he had Akiko with him, which was practically every minute of every day, Baku didn't care much if he got into trouble. Looking up at the girl that was staring down at him Baku blinked languidly at her. She really was a pretty one, but she was probably much to old for him. "Yes, that is quite true, but usually Akiko keeps most people away." Baku said while patting his sword hilt.

Lazy bag of bones.....Don't make me get a stick and start poking.....You won't like my pokes.
I was beginning to get impatient with the other. He was soo lazy it wasn't even funny. I sighed loudly. How boring and droll and uninteresting, and and and and and. Bah humbug. I sighed again wondering if perhaps I should just leave, it seemed obvious he wasn't going to wake up any time soon. I stood up, dusting my skirt off and readying myself to go to the city to hunt when I noticed that he was stirring. About damn time. I crossed my arms watching him calmly through my dark blue eyes. "Most maybe, but who knows when you might run across someone that is stronger than you?" I asked, tilting my head to one side so that my rich black hair cascaded over my shoulder. Yes I knew I was beautiful, but frankly I only cared for one guy. The thought of him sent chills through my back but outwardly I showed nothing other than closing my eyes for a moment. "My name is Diru by the way. What's your's?" I asked calmly. I would at least be nice....for now I guess.
How long is a while is a guess for both of us.....

Baku nodded to what the other vampire had said. It was true that there might be someone stronger than him out there, but first that person had to come find him before they ever had a go at it. Baku wasn't a coward, he was just kinda to lazy to get out of his sleep to find them and then waste the energy trying to fight them. And without that energy to help him Baku really might not stand a chance on fighting them. "True, true, but first that person has to find me." Baku said before giving a large yawn and standing up. He really should be going back to his lands soon, having a land and not being there really doesn't make so good of a leader.
Baku blinked when Diru said her name. He really hadn't felt like giving his own name out at first, but she had giving her his. "My name is Baku. And it is nice to meet you Diru." Something was nagging him in the back of his head about the other vampires name, but Baku really didn't care at the minute.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're oh so big and strong and scary, pfffft.
I almost wanted to sneer at him. He honestly didn't know who I was. That was probably a good thing. "You really should be careful. I'm an elder of the Cygni so I think I might qualify as being stronger than you." I said calmly, "I just honestly don't care though." I shifted slightly, wishing I could be back with Raiden again. He said his name and then a very idiotic thing. At least i thought it was. "Many don't say or even think that it's nice to meet me Baku. I'm not one of the good girls in this world." Except for maybe Raiden, but ummm, different meanings. Of course I was never really crabby around him. hmmmm.
Guess it wouldn't hurt to be nice to someone besides Raiden. At least it won't hurt me in the end...
