In elementary school, we learn the basics. Susie is mean to Katie. Jade has a crush on Marcus. Cindy picks her nose and Colin smells. We learn manners and how to find the answer to two plus two. We learn right and wrong and we learn about cliques.
By the time middle school comes around, we are professionals when it comes to cliques. Susie and Katie got into a fight in the cafeteria. Jade is jealous of Susie because Marcus likes her. Cindy is no longer a nose-picker but a smarty pants and Colin still smells. In middle school cliques are everything. If you're not cool you are nothing.
High school changes everything. Susie beat Katie up so badly that she is in the hospital. Jade overdosed due to depression. Marcus got Jade pregnant behind Susie's back. Cindy is valadictorian and Colin shot himself.
In highschool, everything becomes real all of a sudden. Teenagers are thrust into adulthood. Fun and friends are accompanied by tragedy and loss. Everyone is discovering what life is about and what their purpose is.
At Killington Academy, nothing is ever perfect. The students face the same issues as any other school. The drama is present as well as the academic excellence. Deep down secrets tear friends apart and hearts are broken. Long story short, Killington is the place to be.
