There was no sound in the land of Enrie except a faint breathing sound. It was coming from a vampire sitting on a thick limb high in the trees. Her bright red eyes scanned the forest for someone, hopfully a human who had gotten lost and wondered in the land, but that anymore is rare.
She was hungry, but not hungry enough to go and look for her food. She acctully wasn't sure what to do at the moment. She hasn't met anyone to talk to in over twenty years so she can't just go her friends to talk to. She also was bored of practicing with her broad sword. She has been training with it so much lately that is all she has done. Train, eat and sleep.
Her eyes closed and she lifted her chin up as the breeze picked up. She let the wind flow through her smooth dark hair. She liked the feel of the wind doing this, it calms her down, even if she does seem calm she usally isn't. As soon as the breeze picked up it died again and a deep sigh excaped her lips as her eyes opened to scan the forest again.
"Why must there be nothing to do?" she asked herself outloud. She leaned against the truck of the tree, folded her arms, and closed her eyes again. It was still early in the night, probably around ten or eleven, so she had much time to waste. But what can she do to use up the remaining time?

Eri was roaming. Perhaps not the safest thing for her to be doing, she was the Antares leader after all. People could want to use her, or even kill her to abuse the power she had. Sadly her job was one that she figured she wasn't good at, hence why she was wandering. But the real reason that she was young, quite young. Oh well, she at least had mostly loyal followers it seemed. She wasn't really paying attention either until she heard someone talking. She glanced up and spotted another girl, young looking but that was decieving amonst vampires. After all, someone that was well over a thousand years old could look like they where five years old if they where that unlucky. "There's probably more to do out of the forest." She called out calmly, hand only slightly fingering the hilt of one of her swords. It was her favorite one, the one she almost always had with her, used enough that the grip fitted her hand perfectly now and there was almost nothing she couldn't do with this particular sword. She looked up, waiting for a response calmly though. She was not being aggresive or defensive really, neutrality, such a perfect plan until one could figure out the others plans. Something she was learning in the politics surrounding her station.

The girl looked down to the other as she spook. She didn't know that she was there at all. That was the stupidist thing she could've done. She didn't pay attention. This young girl didn't trust people at all. She was a Canopus, a loner. She watched the girl below her finger the hilt of one of the swords she wore.
"And you would know this how?" The young girl asked. Yes she wasn't the nicest person. But what can she say, many people know her past and her feelings. She liked feeling pain but she tries to stay away from males then. She doesn't want them to know she likes pain and doesn't want them to try something.
Hiashi, the young girl, watched the other girl. She didn't know if this would be a friend or foe. But she never made fast conclusions. Not at first, never. It was something she didn't like doing at all. "So who are you?" She asked trying to sound a little more nice.

Eri simply sniffed slightly at how the girl chose to greet her. Then again Eri had pretty much known fineness all her life, manners where almost second nature to her. Almost. "Because I wander enough." Was all she said to the first question. A soft smile crossed her face when the other asked who she was. Was it not obvious? She shrugged inwardly and after brushing her long brown bangs from her forehead and looking up again towards the other. "Eri, Lady of the Antares. And you are?" She said simply. The title she wasn't overly proud of, but it was useful sometimes, or a hindernce, hence why she'd taken to the sword. She could defend herself pretty well now, at least long enough to let her blood rage take her then there was almost no stopping her.

Hiashi shrugged slightly to her first answer. "Fair enough reason I sappose." She wasn't one for talking, manners, or friendship. To her it looked like this girl was at least two of the three. It looked like she liked to have friends and had good manners.
As soon as the other annoced herself as Eri, or leader of Antares, she was slightly impressed. A young girl like that ruling a land? surprised no elder vampires didn't try to steal it yet. "I've heard of you. Your brother more." Yes, she has heard of Sai alot. Heard he was cute too. But she wasn't going to say that to his sister. My name is Hiashi by the way. I'm a Canopus. Canopus/loner same to her.

Eri shrugged slightly when the other said her reason was fair enough. She did not need anyone's approval. She began fidgeting with a nail on her right hand, mostly worrying the skin about the end of it. She glanced up when the other mentioned hearing of her, but of having heard more of Sai. Shortly after she gave her own name and faction. That she was a Canopus was no surprise to her. What still got under her skin was that she knew of Sai. "What have you heard of my brother Hiashi?" She asked calmly, worrying if perhaps the clans knew what Sai had done to their birthclan one night. He could be hunted down then, for killing an elder vampire, or for those that wanted to test their strength. That would not be good, she'd have to hurry and tell Sai to be on his guard should the girl near her tell her any vital information that he would need to know.

Hiashi sat on the tree branch now and looked down to Eri when she asked what hiashi knew of her brother. [/i]Enough.[/i] she thought to herself. Yet she figured the Sister has the right to know of the knowledge she has heard.
Well most of it is roomers I have heared. I'm not sure if they are real or not. But I do know for sure he is cute looking. Sorry, I just had to say that. She gave a warm smile then kept talking. Anyways, I have heard he left the family clan to join the Tau Ceti. That I think is true because I have seen him head that way once or twice.
She stopped for a moment to let that sink in. But I heard from rumors that he has killed his whole family but you. Yet people don't belive he could pull that off. That is impossible, and I belive it is. No way he, or anyone can do that by themselves. I am sure.
She watched her for any expresion or sign of truth or lie. She was decent with doing this, even if other thought they could hide it, they usually couldn't from Hiashi.[/color]

Eri sighed slightly when the other started to explain. Oh she knew it was a fact that he had joined with the Tau Ceti. He would visit her and she would occasionally meet him at the border of that area, it wouldn't do for her to invade another clan's lands really. Someone might think that they where declaring war. She froze though, blue eyes shining and some spots of red flicking into existence in her eyes. Her muscles tensed and she reached towards her sword. No, how could they know what Sai had done? She relaxed though and let an easy smile touch over her mouth. "Ah, yeah I have heard that others think my brother is....attractive, but he is hard to be around for times. Of course there was no way my brother could kill the entire family. Our father was an elder and our mother almost had reached the elder status. We still do not truly know what happened that night." She said calmly, looking up calmly although her hand on the hilt of the sword perhaps betrayed her inner emotions. She would have to go straight to Sai to warn him. Oh it was possible for Sai to kill the family. The bloodrage was particularly fierce in his veins. She almost shuddered remembering that night. She'd seen parts of it before fleeing not really believing that Sai could be so brutal. "Anything else you might have heard?" She asked curiously. She had to know, it was so close to the truth that it wasn't funny.

Hiashi watched her carfully. She could tell what one was thinking by their movments most of the time. She didn't always guess right, but most of the times she does. The first thing she noticed was the girls eyes. How they started to get red spots upon the blue field. She never seen such a thing before for Hiashi didn't know want it ment. Could it be anger? Fear? Hat perhaps? maybe the slight chance of excitment or gult? maybe Happy? She didn't know though.
She listened to her and wondered if she was hidding something. But she decided not to make a big deal out of it. She just smiled slightly and listened to her again. No, I don't remember anything else. And by the way I love how your eyes changed slightly. She also noted Eri's muscles had tightened and her hand was on the hilt of her blade. Somthing was up for sure.

She was still tense, waiting for any other revelations the other would expose. So far she knew she was high-tailing it to Sai as soon as she could. That would be as soon as she could leave without offending the other. Such manners from such a young girl in a hurry. She looked up, eyes widening when the other mentioned her eyes changing. Sh*t was all she could think of. Of course the rage took her sometimes, but well, it wouldn't do to have it take effect right now. She lowered her gaze. "It's a common trait of my family when we are over-come by a strong emotion." She simply said while taking a deep breath to calm herself before looking up with her normal bright blue eyes. Oh yes, common to her family but not unheard of in other lines.

Hiashi heard her out and shrugged slightly. Sounds like an interesting trait. But it can give away your thoughts and actions fast I'm sure. She didn't care if it angered her or not. It was just a fact. Hiashi stood up on the branch and looked around. Well I don't know about you but I'm hungry. Care for a hunt with me, or do you need to get back to your clan?

"It is and it does, but we learned to control it from an early age, sadly it is a dominant trait as well." She said calmly watching the girl. "I'm afraid I'm not hungry and need to get some stuff done before retiring for the day. Nice meeting you Hiashi." She said calmly with a small incline of her head. She only waited a couple more seconds after lifting her head before leaping away, almost like a startled deer, heading straight back for her clan lands, through there she hoped to get to the Tau Ceti lands. She could only hope Sai would be roaming.

Hiashi shrugged slightly and watched her dash off. Nice to meet you to Eri. she yelled to her. Okay so it wasn't someone she wanted to meet again, boring to her. But that was Hiashi, she likes action and excitment. She knew she was going to the Tau Ceti. She just had a feeling of it. She turned and headed off to the human lands. It was time to eat.
