He smiled grimly. "I'm glad you think so, but I'll tell you this. Only an elder or ancient can kill me in one on one, and even then an elder would have problems." He said, almost bitterly. It was true. The rage would over-take him, rage that someone was trying to kill him, rage that he wouldn't be there to protect his clan and family, rage that they would doubt his loyalty.
He looked up when Sensation's sentence trailed off and he heard the soft patter of cat paws on the ground before the low growl. He stood up, tensing. Who was it?
He sighed sightly seeing a familiar hair color followed by outfit. "Eri, why are you even here?" He called out. She should've known better. She'd never done this before, to his knowledge.
Eri was moving quickly, going through her own lands then coming to the edge of the Tau Ceti. She peered intently through what she could see and could just make out the form of two people. She hoped dearly that it was Sai and someone who could keep their mouth shut.
She moved forward, this time being quiet.
She mentally cursed when she heard a cat growl and decided she had better call out. "Sai? Please say that's you!" She called out. Shortly after she heard Sai calling to her and almost laughed in relief. She spilled out of a bush. "Sai, people are starting to figure out what you did!" She almost yelled, forgetting that there was someone else with him.
She froze seeing the other. "I'm sorry for intruding, but I need to speak with my brother, urgently." She said quickly, nodding her head to the girl. She knew her as the clan leader but not much else, and since she was trespassing she should be respectful. Such a good girl, sometimes.

Sensation watched and listen carefully. Then when she heard the voice of the other call out to Sai, and Sai call back she knew who is was then. Sen snapped quietly and Shadow sat down on her hunches and relaxed. Only Sen could snap and make the cat not attack, that is why she did. She didn't want Shadow to jump on Eri.
Sen listened to Eri and nodded towards her. I understand. I'll just continue on the patrol. You can both come, or you can talk alone. I don't care. She looked to Sai. If you two decide to talk in private you can leave the lands of course, and once your done you can find me or head back to the castle. Again it is up to you I don't care.
She smiled at them slightly and started walking to the North now, since she and Sai made it as far east as the Tau Ceti clan's territory can go. She trusted Sai enough that she trusted Eri. She had a feeling Eri would respect the land, and Sai wouldn't let anything happen to it. But she will keep her ears peeled on any distruction sounds which could appear. Sen looked down at Shadow fallowing close and smiled. She loved her cat very well.

Sai eyed Sensation coolly, wondering why she saw fit to leave. He glanced at his sister and sighed. He nodded slightly. He knew Eri would only tell him, not thinking that he would tell Sensation later on.
His eyes widened slightly, eyes turning a faint reddish purple through-out. Sh*t. People where catching on. He had to warn Sensation then for sure. She probably wouldn't want her in the clan, but oh well. He'd deal with the punishment if any.
He nodded a quick thanks to his sister before she disappeared and then he moved off after Sensation and her cat. "I'll explain once in the castle, but you have a right to know this as well." He said calmly when he caught up and fell in step with her.
Eri looked up at the girl curiously when she mentioned leaving them alone. She simply nodded in gratitude. She didn't feel like the other needed to know personal information about her family.
"Sai, a Canopus told me that there are rumors going around how you killed the clan. She didn't believe it but you know somebody will." She said quickly and almost breathlessly. She noted his eyes dully. "Just be careful." She said quietly as she stepped back from him. "I'll be at my home for a while." She said calmly. She didn't need to be out roaming now. Then again knowing her, she'd be out in a few hours.

Sensation heard Sai move after her and his sister leave. To her it didn't matter that the two of them were alone. She also didn't care if Eri was in her land. She trusted Sai and his judgment, and she knew he wouldn't let Eri in the land if she was planning anything, even if she is his sister. She looked at him as he spoke to her about her needing to know something. Part of her wanted to know because he is a member and she wants to know everything about members, yet she didn't want to know because it could be a personal matter.
She just nodded to Sai. Okay Sai. But if you don't want to tell, because this is a personal matter, I won't care. But if you feel I need to know then please tell me. Either way would be fine by me. What she said she meant. She knew others of the clan didn't trust him or didn't even want him a member of the clan. But Sen did. She liked him as a clan member, a friend, and sometimes a protector. Even if she doesn't show or tell anyone that.

He sighed gently. "You have a right to know. Plus I really don't mind but others may perhaps single me out calling me a traitor." He said calmly, running a hand through his black hair. His violet eyes alight with some emotion only he knew, but the red wasn't evident.
He moved along at a calm walk. He did regret what he'd done to his family clan, but his father had provoked him and he couldn't control himself back then. He had been so weak, mentally at least.
"I will tell you when we're in the castle and no spies could be listening. It's not really something I want the entire vampire community to know." He said with a small frown. "Then they really would gang up on me and I don't want this clan hurt." He said calmly looking at her.

She petted Shadows head and watched the panther run off by itself into the woods. She listened to Sai as he spoke 'You have a right to know. Plus I really don't mind but others may perhaps single me out calling me a traitor.' She sighed slightly. I really hope the clan won't. I know they may not trust you, but I do. And they should trust my judgement. She partially wished she could take that back, but she also is partially happy he will know that she trusts him. She noticed they where close to the far North part of the Clan territory and turned West to walk that line.

It's not really something I want the entire vampire community to know' She looked at him and saw the small frown but only nodded understanding what he ment. 'Then they really would gang up on me and I don't want this clan hurt.' She shrugged slightly and looked back out straight ahead. This clan has been hurt many times Sai. Every clan has. But we pull through. she sighed slightly and muttered quietly under her breath, most of us. She was meaning herself there. She still hasn't pulled herself back together since she has lost her mother. She just wants to know who is responsible for her mother's death, but she most likely won't find out.

"Aye, they should, but some might try to test you. Some are just idiots." He said calmly. He grimaced slightly. Well, if it did come down to it he could flee. Become a Canopus or something. At best Eri would let him into the Antares, though for some it would confirm their ideas that he was a spy.
"That's true, but I don't want to be the cause of the hurt." He said softly, then eyed her sharply when she muttered under her breath and he caught the gist. "Anything you wish to explain when we're alone?" He asked gently. Not really wanting to anger her, but letting her know he would listen if she wanted to tell.

And that is one thing she hated about the clan. After her mother died a lot of the older "intelligent" clan members left. She just keeps on wishing she knew who killed her mother, and why.
'That's true, but I don't want to be the cause of the hurt' She looked at him and saw him eye me sharply then speak again. Anything you wish to explain when we're alone?' She sighed. Maybe Sai. No grantees. Okay? She wasn't sure if she could handle telling the story. Yet, he should know the story. Shouldn't he?

"Well, I know of at least on person in the clan who isn't an idiot. And I'm not talking about me. I think my earlier performance keeps me out of that hmm?" He said, a slightly playful smile flashing over his mouth. He really would rather talk about more positive things but that was hard to do sometimes.
He nodded calmly when she said that she might tell him. "If you don't want to that's fine, we all have secrets that we want to keep close to us." He said calmly. Everyone did. What was his? Well, he didn't want to even think about it. It was just embarassing alright. That's all, nothing really wrong with that he figured.

She thought about what he said then and looked at him carefully. Sai, what you just said. That is also what I want you to think about. You don't have to tell me what is going on. On what you and Eri talked about and that. Like you said 'We all have secrets that we want to keep close to us.'" She hoped he would take this into consideration. Hoping he won't want to tell unless he surly meant it.
She looked around and whistled softly. She petted Shadow as he came out of the bushes back toward Sai and herself. She looked at Sai and smirked slightly. Lets see who is faster. Not sure I am but lets see. She looked down to the Panther then back to Sai. Lets Go! She shouted and ran off. She watched as Shadow bolted in front of her faster. She knew she won't beat that stupid cat.

He frowned slightly when she didn't go along with his playing. That sucked, sucked what he wasn't going to think or say. Oh well, guess she just didn't want to joke around a little.
He listened calmly when she did speak. "Sensation, you have a right to know this, I may leave little parts out though." He said calmly. Some was perhaps a bit too sensitive, like how he'd killed the family. He shuddered slightly, eyes closing for a moment as his mind drifted to those thoughts.
His eyes snapped open, still his brilliant purple color when she mentioned seeing who was faster. He gave a wry little smile.
He chased after her seconds after she had taken off and he'd seen the cat shoot ahead faster. That made him wonder, vampires where suppossed to be the fastest things in existence. He pushed himself until he figured he was passing Sensation.
He was going strong and could almost see the castle when he failed to notice the mud puddle and slid and fell in it, cracking his head against a low branch. He sat there dazed, noting that his once white outfit was stained but not being able to stand up quite yet since the world was spinning.

Sensation smirked as she saw Sai running beside her. She knew she wasn't going to beat the cat... then at least. She knew she could beat it, if she wanted to. She just wanted Sai to catch her, then she would do the real race. She looked over to him and smiled then as soon as he passed her she raced forward more.
She was still behind him when she saw him go down. She slid to a stop and fell down on her hands and knees from that fast of a stop. She looked at him covered in mud and he seemed Dazed to her. She got up and jumped over to him and landed beside him. She placed a hand on his shoulder lightly. Sai. Are you alright? She actually hoped he was playing around and wasn't hurt, but she wasn't sure.

Sai heard the running feet and figured Sensation would keep going, they where racing after all so he was rather shocked though pleased when she stopped to check on him. Though he wasn't quite in his right mind. One might say that he was equivilent to a human being drunk.
"Yeah, just a little knock to the head." He said at first, seemingly perfectly normal, though if she saw that his eyes where slightly glazed over and hidden deep within them where small specks of red that where not the usual bright color but one like dried blood almost. "You know Sen, you shouldn't worry so much, you'll ruin your beauty." He said lifting his head to look at her through his semi-glazed eyes.
He stood up, stumbling slightly to regain his balance and when he was he put his cleaner hand under Sensation's chin to try and lift her head up to place a feather light kiss on her forehead. He wasn't thinking straight, that much should be obvious. If Eri had been here she would have taken him to a hopsital or something, or an aslyum. In the back of his mind he knew he probably shouldn't be doing this but right now it didn't make a diffence. "Stop worry my lovely ok?" He said looking at her calmly.

She looked over him keeping her hand on his shoulder. She just didn't want him to be to hurt. 'Yeah, just a little knock to the head.' She heard him say. Once he said that she let out a small sigh of relief. 'You know Sen, you shouldn't worry so much, you'll ruin your beauty.' She looked at him and chuckled slightly unsure on why he said that. She just shook it off when he stood up.
She held his arm hoping he won't fall over. She was surprised when Sai lifted her head up with his hand and kissed her forehead. She now knew Sai wasn't his normal self. Mostly because the Sai she knew wouldn't do that. 'Stop worry my lovely ok?' She heard Sai say to her. Ugh. Sai. I think you hit your head harder then you think. I better get you back into the castle.

He noted her chuckle, wondering why she was laughing. Was he funny? He didn't think so. Of course his brain was addled as it was. He was walking along calmly, his eyes misting over with the strange dark red. He noted her next words and absently reached to touch where he'd whacked his head. He pulled it away and noted that though there was a lump and perhaps a bruise there was only a little dot of blood.
"Why do you care so much Sensation? It can't be only because I'm part of your clan. I'm a murderer. I killed my own family. Everyone, my father was an elder too, gone with these two hands." He said showing his hands as if they where stained with the blood of his ancestors even though it was only the mud.
"It's all because of the f*cking blood-rage that's common in my lineage. Eri has it as well but she can control it better than I can. That's why my eyes go that bright red whenever some strong emotion grips me and if it gets too strong I snap. I know what I'm doing but it's like I'm a beast." He said calmly, almost shuddering. He felt almost alone in the world.
"Others want me dead because of that. Because I murdered an elder. Because I'm a freak with a dangerous gift. Do you see Sensation? I'm a danger to everyone I love Sensation. Eri, you, the clan, everyone." He said, his deep blood-red gaze dropping to the ground. His eyes may have been blood-red but it would have been hard to see any threat in them which was the odd thing.
